The scientific and practical journal “Cardiology of Uzbekistan” is a scientific and practical peer-reviewed journal founded in 2006 by the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology and the Association of Cardiologists of Uzbekistan. Since its foundation, the journal has served as a professional platform for the dissemination of relevant scientific knowledge and clinical experience in the field of cardiovascular medicine. Initially published in print format, since 2024 the journal has fully transitioned to an electronic publication format in accordance with modern international standards of scientific publishing.

The journal “Cardiology of Uzbekistan” is an independent professional publication focused on the development of clinical, interventional, and preventive cardiology. The journal publishes original scientific articles, systematic and narrative reviews, clinical studies, analytical materials, and clinical cases reflecting modern achievements of cardiological science and practice.

The main attention is paid to issues of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, including ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension, rhythm and conduction disorders, heart failure, congenital and acquired heart defects, as well as modern methods of interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and transplantology.

The target audience of the journal includes cardiologists, cardiovascular and endovascular surgeons, transplantology specialists, internal medicine physicians, researchers in the field of medical sciences, as well as residents and postgraduate students undergoing professional training. Publication frequency

The journal “Cardiology of Uzbekistan” is published four times a year. The minimum number of articles in one issue is 4, the maximum is 40. Articles are accepted throughout the year.

Articles published in " Cardiology of Uzbekistan " are fully open access. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). license. Within the open access model, the journal “Cardiology of Uzbekistan” charges an article processing fee (APC) of 200 US dollars for manuscripts accepted for publication. No submission fee is charged.
The APC covers the costs of peer review, editorial processing, article preparation, online placement, and long-term archiving. Details are provided in the section “Fees for Authors”.

However, in 2025 all costs for authors are covered by the Association of Cardiologists of Uzbekistan and no fees will be charged to authors.
