Clınıcal and laboratory dıfferences between stentıng and optımal medıcal therapy ın the treatment of coronary artery dısease.
Abstract
The objective was to study the relationship between risk factors and clinical-laboratory indicators in patients receiving treatment for ischemic heart disease with stenting and optimized medical therapy. The study included 70 patients, 37 receiving optimized medical therapy and 33 who had undergone stenting. Biochemical indicators, including cholesterol, triglyceride, and fasting glucose levels, as well as functional indicators such as ejection fraction, were analyzed. No statistically significant differences were found between the groups in terms of biochemical and functional indicators. Both treatment approaches demonstrated similar effectiveness. Stenting remains an important method of treatment, while optimized medical therapy also proves to be effective.
